New Zealand Graphics & Technology Teachers Association

About NZGTTA

NZGTTA is a professional subject association set up to promote and support teachers of Graphics and Technology in New Zealand schools.

The association has a national president and an executive made up of five regional vice presidents a treasurer, secretary, Technology Education, Industry Training Organisation (ITO) and Post primary Teachers Association (PPTA) representatives.

The Executive meets two times each year alternating between North and South Island main centres.

Each of the five regions is well represented by regional branches each with an individual chairperson, secretary and treasurer.
The aim for each branch is to inform teachers of the latest news from executive the MOE, NZQA and ITO’s.

Regular contact is made with Industry and other educational and professional organisations willing to demonstrate or share with teachers.

NZGTTA is proud of its tradition and support for the subjects of Graphics and Technology. Our Patron Terry Guy was an influential figure in developing and supporting Graphics and Technology education in New Zealand as a teacher, advisor and consultant.
